LEARNING AGREEMENT

1.     THE CHOSEN SITE & RESEARCH TOPICS/ ISSUES YOU WISH TO STUDY

·         Multi- purpose furniture is my chosen area of study

·         Aim: to find out if multipurpose furniture only appeals to young people below 40 yrs of age and above 12 yrs of age

·         Objective : gain opinions from people of all ages and determine if multipurpose furniture should be altered to suit different ages of people or if it is practical for people below 12 and above 40

·         Tittle of  thesis: Is it Multi –purpose or  Multi- look furniture?

§  Multi – purpose furniture ‘s debate to be accepted for  all ages of people

§  Furniture with more than 1 function, can you accept ?

§  When multi – purpose furniture’s form go abstract, can everyone accept?

2.     OUTLINE OF REPORT AND HOW YOU WISH TO CARRY OUT YOUR OBJECTIVES

·         Chapter 1 : An introduction of what multi- purpose furniture looks like because a multipurpose furniture nowadays may not resemble the ordinary table and chair idea we have known long ago

·         Chapter 2 : lists out type of materials multi-purpose furniture can be made out of and colours

·         Chapter 3 : finding out why it only appeals to people above 12 years of age and below 40 yrs of age ( is it because of the design that the older people could not relate to what they perceive as a table is no longer a table?) or they use of material that looks not solid, the choice of colour to strong for their eyes) or  is it a psychological? As in their mentality to adapt to change is slower in those age groups. Is it a combination of all mentioned above

·         Chapter 4 : interviews with the public on their views regarding multi-purpose furniture, do they oppose or could they accept. reasons

·         Chapter 5 :  any solution in changing the design/ colour/ form of multi-purpose furnitures so that it will appeal to to other age groups other than the mentioned

·         Chapter 6: conclude my analysis
