YES! Though as tiny excitement as this may seem, i won tickets to URBANSCAPES 2011 ( 4 of it ) each worth Rm40, i’ve not won anything this much before. It was just a fun thing to join this contest that gives you URBANSCAPES tickets if you complete the slogan, “i would wanna go to urbanscapes because …..”

i was trying to make it sound like they link with urbanscapes, so i separated the word URBANSCAPES to URBAN + ESCAPES

i think my slogan went like this

something like that , i had forgotten what i wrote, but its pretty catchy and it links

but in the end i did not go, as i had other plans the night before and was too tired, but ticket did manage to find a rightful owner who wants it and it was well spent for them!

Jonker’s street essence of Nyonya

out of curiousity, how did this street in Malacca get it’s name? Were they trying to spell Joker but added an extra “O” in the middle ? O.o!

Or probably it’s named after a well famous portugese sailor who once lived on this street. Right,google can help you with your answers..

I’m just gonna move along to my Nyonya stuff. I had a day trip there following my friend who went to buy “manik” <---tiny bead”s for his mum to make the very rare handmade baba nyonnya shoe.

How rare, i don’t think you can find people still inhibiting this passed down culture. My friend’s mum is of baba nyonnya heritage and she kneads the beads as her pastime hobby.

This bead shop is located on Jonker’s street. it’s a typical sewing/ accessories shop where you could find all sorts of beads to be sewn on clothes, bracelet, necklace ( but i can’t find studs that can be sewn on shoes & clothes )

After buying those stuff, we had a walk on the streets. It really reminded me of China poor people’s quarters. It’s as if you are frozen and turned back in time.

Tell me, if i’’m wrong

This is the shop where i ate chicken rice balls , pretty decent price, thought hiked up due to being part of tourist attraction , meal for 2 RM20++ inclusive , chicken + rice + soup + veggie+ 2 drinks..Well, maybe its pretty worth it after all, i hear some of my friends going ot other shops not getting many dishes like us. hehehe

The wood interior is all TEAK WOOD! OMG TIMBER~~~HOW EXPENSIVE that would have been if it were build in the era of Y2k generation. I’d imagine myself living in such a building mixing modern technology with the old chinese style. The olden days concept of chinese houses, had an open air space in between, letting good ventilation flow through. Though, it maybe kind of bad, when u try to go upstairs and it’s raining, no connecting shade area, ( will get wet ) =.=

May i talk bout the rice? yes i will!, i feel i must! ~~~

the texture is rather mushy, somewhere in between porridge and rice texture, once poked with a fork, it tends to stay fixed for a few seconds, then it just breaks into half, a perfect nice half cut ! O.o! i wonder how is that possible.

This is another open airwell concept of the chinese style shophouses, though you may say it’s chinese, but i think it already has a touch f baba Nyonya into it ( note the window gutters, typical malay house style)

p/s , you will see loads of wood being used alot in these shophouses, these wood are so well preserved

the gold engravings are NOT Chinese NOT Malays, hmm must be baba nyonya style ? XD

mixture of designs in the shophouses, still essence of China remains on the front door part ( wooden doors) reminds me of a small town in China i went to in Gui Lin.

another place you should got is the BaBa Nyonya museum somewhere along this street in the picture above, its a house stayed by a pretty rich baba nyonya family, you should see their designs, rather enlightening, a mix of chinese + malay + european+ lavishly done up! you also get to learn bout their culture =) which i learnt is pretty interesting.

i’ll leave it to you to experience this durian puff stall which is known to be famous in Jonker’s,

texture? the puff is not pastry puff like you expect, its more rubbery but the durian cream in the inside, is magnific!!! cold~~ if only the puff were more fluffier like kuih bahulu it would be perfect! Oh well, this is the thing that is famous there , should try

There are laksa stalls nearby too, they serve pretty HUGE bowls..but my tummy cant chow down no more.

Overall, i feel its a pretty interesting place if you would wanna see ancient previous stuffs traditional stuffs GREAT PLACE! whereever you look , you will tend to spot things/ place related to the past! That is if you know how to spot

For all the fast automobiles lovers out there, i’m pretty sure the word “Ferrari” isn’t foreign to you at all. From young we’ve been brainwashed that the fastest car you could find is A FERRARI!

nowadays, with a little more cash on hand , you could own a Ferrari with just a snap of a finger. What a dream come true! Though first hands may still be a little pricey, but hey! opting for a second hand one is still a pretty lean mean lady magnet

So , where in Malaysia could you go to buy a Ferrari? Of course , a Ferrari dealer. But do you know, you could now purchase your dream Ferrari car ON LINE! YES! with a click of a mouse.

car damages cost

some tips for you guys out there if you are afraid your mechanice may con you. This is based on the price rate of Selangor area. Though not all are standard, but roughly around the price range that i state ;D

close up view:

damage = small dent + scratches ( should be less than Rm100 to knock back, scratches can be removed by using Thinner

Now, beware this may look like a small dent but knocking and spraying it cost a whooping Rm400 bloody hell!

Damage: small dent knocked back, bumper needs to be changed because sensor is gone Rm100 , spraying Rm300

Damage : Bonnet knocked back, silver ribcage replaced, left lamp replaced, bumper replaced, respray . Total Rm600

Damage: radiator leaked (Rm1k to replace it, any internal damage to the car will cost you above Rm1k), front part replaced, bumper replaced, respray ,Rm1300++

I also attach a photo of a car internal part, at least when the mechanic tells you what part is damage , at least you would know what he is referring to and he wont cheat your money, especially if you are a lady!

Is the trend to read other people's blog still in for people who are at my age , 20 and above....or is it just me....that reading other people's life is well not so interesting anymore. Maybe facebook is to blame as majority people just plainly post every pics of their life in facebook. I'd say..Facebook will one day become the next GOOGLE, i'm not surprised :)

I've bet that now with smartphones technology and with almost everywhere u turn your head you will SPOT! a person carrying an "I " gadget...."I"meaning iphone, ipad, ipod.....Then you got those amazing apps in smartphones like the " I " gadget which lets you keep in touch with people even on the go! of course with VERY VERY affordable and luring data plans come bombing you in the face/ in the ears, hard to not fall prey to them :D

so yeah people have found a new thing to glue their eyes to instead of focusing on blogging...oh no~~~it's a slowly dying trend like "friendster " XD

however i feel i will still document certain things in here. to well for remembrance ..yup * public remembrance...or this will just be my site where i share what i want the public to know :D

I did not know that PJ( Petaling Jaya) area actually offer homestays like houses, condo units or a room in a house for people who come from outstation who would be staying short term like maybe 2 weeks or a month for job purposes , it would be way too costly to stay in a hotel for a month,that is why this is a real good option you should consider! The rooms/ unit that are listed on this website PJ Homestays is quite convincing and very convenient for people who needs public transport as they are mostly located at strategic locations in PJ which are either near a mall, a LRT station or a hypermarket. So if you are from outstation, you need not worry about finding food / transportation when you have a look at these units/ room that are listed in this website.

Even tourist who would love to have a feeling the experience of “living as a Malaysian” could take a click to this website to have a look. (I know you want to)

Their rental service go by daily rate and depending on some owner of the unit or room, they may have a minimum stay period which means you have will have to stay a minimal amount of days only you are allowed to book that unit or room. When you purchase something, you would normally expect it to just come in the mail( if u purchased it online)wrapped in those brown envelope.

But it's always tempting to open it like a present sent from Santa and then looking inside to find your stuff. But it's even more joyous when u open to find many little little " gifts"inside that came along with it.

This happened! I purchased the owl pendant above and see the items surrounding it? it came together!!...FREE earring, FREE thank you note, FREE road direction to somewhere?! hahaha that was funny!!! maybe my seller wanted to lead me to some treasure hunt game where i could find more treasures :D

and THAT made my day!

What do we Siberian Husky look like?

Some people say we originated from the wolf packs,some say we look almost like the Alaskan Malamute dog breed.But in actual fact we share the same genetics as the Spitz breed. A breed of dog that rather resembles wolf but smaller in size.

We come in many colours, which can range from our fur colour, our paw colour, our nose colour to our eye colour. Our fur colour has a mixture of two colours. It can range from black and white , to copper brown with white. But the most common colours are black and white, copper- red with white, gray with white and pure white too! Our facial markings also differ. Some of us , have a round circular marking around our eyes, which makes us look really fierce, some of us just have a converging line coming down our forehead. Because of our unique face markings, it give us different looks, like the kind look , the fierce look, the adorable yet innocent look.

Because we are originated in the Arctic region , so our pigmentation tend to be a bit uneven,which is a form of albino in animals. Called the heterochromia, it is actually a common occurrence in our species because of where we come from. But it does not affect our health. The heterochromia are very obvious in our eye colour & nose, which means some of us may have 1 eye blue and the other eye brown and some of us may have what people call “snow nose” or “winter nose”.Meaning our nose is half black with certain areas having flesh like colour, mostly seen on the front portion of our nose.

Our fur coat is very thick compared to other dogs. We have 2 layers of fur. Why? Because our ancestors originated in the Arctic region so we need very thick coat of fur to keep warm. Our clothes are just like the clothes humans wear to keep themselves warm. One amazing fact about our fur is that our fur are able to keep us surviving in temperatures of -50 to -60. Plus,do you know though that our fur is so thick, but yet in the summer it reflects off heat as well?

Now you know why we do not get over heated during summers in the Arctic .

We’re not really considered a small dog breed nor a big dog breed, but in between. Our male clan are mostly in the height range of 53- 60 cm on when on four paws. Our female clan on the other hand, can grow to a range of 51- 56 cm tall when on four paws too.

How heavy are we? If you would wanna compare, I would say we are about the weight of an average 7 year old child. With the males at 20-27 KG, the females at 16-23 KG.

We can live as long as any dog breeds, which is 12- to 15 of humans years, if you multiply it with 7, which is the number of dog years in 1 human year. You will get 105 years. We can live up to 105 years old in dog years! That’s a long life ain’t it .

Origins of The Husky Dog

Dogs have been man’s best friend since the dawn of times. Humans have since have many choices in terms of species of dogs to choose from as different species of dogs possesses distinct personality. From a guardian to a companion, like a German Shepherd to a Shih Tzu.

One particular dog breed stands out and has been stealing the spotlights of Hollywood. Word has it that it came from a snowy land. I’m pretty sure in everyone’s mind right now, the name “Siberian Husky” would pop out. If you’ve guessed that ,then you are right!

The Siberian Husky have come a long way, they originated from the same place where Chukchi people lived, which is Siberia, the North Eastern side of Asia. Hence the name Siberian Husky. The term “husky” actually was a mutation from the word “Eskie” which is what the Europeans used to call a tribe of people, called the “ Inuits” when they went on an expedition to the Arctic.

Genetically ,Siberian huskies fall under the breed of dogs called “Spitz”,which has bushy fur, pointed ears and their tails are curled upwards towards the back of the dog’s body. Though genetically they are from the Spitz family line, but they are medium in size, capable of being more than just a companion for men. The fact that they are mostly found in the Arctic region, is most likely due to the thickness of their fur, which are lined closely and pack are able to keep them warm in those extreme cold weather conditions of the Arctic region.

Thus, people in the Siberia often used them as sled dogs to help aid in men’s daily life. In fact, they have long since been used as sled dogs .It’s because they can cover long distance travelling on a very small amount of food. That shows how great their stamina are. Not only were the Siberian Husky used for transportation, but they also have a sled dog competition from time to time to see which Husky was the fastest runner.

The first big race was in Alaska, whereby the Siberian Huskies were imported into Alaska as a sled dog in the “All Alaska Sweepstakes” which is a race from Nome to Candle, to and fro using sled dogs. In the 1930’s, two things made a huge change in the dog breed of Siberian Husky. First the commonly known sled dogs are exported out of Siberia. Secondly, they were formally recognised by the American Kennel Club.

Because of the dog’s potential as a sled dog in the cold arctic regions, many people found that rather useful, and they were breeding these dogs to be exported for sled dog races, for rescue aid missions in the Arctic, for means of transportation in the Arctic and so on. That is the start of their breed dominating the world with their charm to prove effortlessly that they are able to travel long journeys in the Arctic condition, making rescue missions possible, making transportation possible and also accompanying mankind on their mission or expedition in the Arctic.

Thus, whenever you mention about Siberia, you will never fail to hear the name Siberian husky that will often be associated with it. And now because of their popularity, you can find them all over the world more of a house hold pet than a sled dog. Because a dog is men’s best friend, and your best friend is your best friend is due to the fact that you both click very well in terms of personalities and behaviour. Wise words indeed.

If you are looking for a companion, a Siberian Husky would top up as one of the choice breed to look for.By nature, they are really gentle dogs, and also shows a sort of childlike eagerness when around humans. As some may already know the behaviours of a Siberian Husky, we will know that they are really a breed that needs to be given constant attention to. Yes, they are loving and friendly in nature and love being around people or have a companion with them, but they tend to be moody and grumpy when they are less paid attention to. They will find any way to get attention, most commonly by making a long howling noise.

Other than that we know Siberian Huskies are natural born athletes and thus they need constant exercise to remain in shape, you could just take your Husky out for a 20 minute walk daily and it will make his days already. Besides, a Husky is a best exercise mate as they will be more than happy to pull you along while they are running. So for Huskies owners if you are the type who wants to keep fit , you have found your companion!

If you are concern about food, you need not worry. A Siberian Husky doesn’t require to eat so much .They can bare with adequate amount of food. However, all though they do not eat much but they are still picky eaters. They may not eat if you have given them the same diet. So if this happens, try changing their diets from chicken to beef sort of type. As all vets will tell us dog lovers, chocolate is very harmful to the dog’s body. If a dog eats chocolate it will be health hazardous. Also salt is bad for dogs with a lot of fur. This in the case also applies to the Siberian Husky. The dog’s fur will tend to drop more if they eat any food that contains salt. Oh and do remember not to overfeed your Husky! Because when they are young you won’t see they gain much weight, but if you continue to feed them a lot ,they will put on a lot of weight as they get older. This will lead to heart related diseases.

We know every dog will tend to dig & chew on stuff quite often at a certain stage of their life. But Siberian Husky are different, they just love to dig. They can try to dig anything, not just soil. Even hard pavement or their water bowls, they will just claw away. You can’t stop them from clawing but you could at least put them in an area where they are allowed to dig and try to have 1 or 2 small medium bowls filled with water instead of a big one. On the chewing issue, it is a really common thing in dogs. Fortunately, you can train them to not chew on your valuables like your shoes or furniture. In Huskies, they only chew on your valuables when they are give less attention to. Thus, chewing on your stuff is their way to get your attention but we all know that it will end up with us scolding / punishing them. The best way is to provide a chew toy for them to play with so they can keep themselves busy while you are away.

A very important thing to take note on is your fencing. Known to be Houdini of the dogs, Siberian Huskies are real good escape artists! They are able to crawl out of fences which are not buried to the ground, able to jump more than 4ft high and run at really fast speed.So, remember to fence your fence into the ground, make it at least 6ft high then your Husky is guaranteed not able to do a Houdini disappearing act on you. The Siberian Huskies are intelligent dogs, they are able to mimic human verbal words, switch lights on and off and open a door with their paws. With great intelligence you would expect them to be street wise. However they are not. They are rather oblivious to dangers like cars coming or intruders coming in to your house. Therefore, you must always keep watch on your Husky while you bring them out, make sure they are leashed on.

Lastly grooming, you are good to know that Siberian Husky tend to groom themselves too! But once in a while just grab a brush comb their fur, as to keep it smooth and remove all the sheded furs that are stuck within their fur.Besides, I bet your Husky enjoys the combing moments you give them,it’s like massage to them. Other than that, the Siberian Husky does not have dog odour which you commonly smell in dogs who hasn’t bath in 1/ 2 weeks.

Nowadays dogs or pets in general mean a lot to us humans. When the world thinks you are useless or makes you feel not worth living, pets somehow make us feel that there is still someone that we mean a lot too! Your pet will not judge you and think that no one loves you, they will tell you that you are wrong, and that they are constantly there to love you , accompany you no matter how tough life has been to you.

That is why in return we should treat them the same and love them as much as they love us. How can we do that? Well, Pets do get sick or diseases too, like us humans, that is why there are pet doctors, vets!

For a Siberian Husky owner, the health of your Siberian Husky is greatly important as it guarantees a long good years with you healthily.

Generally, Siberian Husky do not have many genetic diseases. Which means their breed have good genes which do not succumb much to diseases . However, due to running a lot , some Siberian Huskies tend to have a common hip problem call Hip Dysplasia. This is a condition whereby the thighbone of the canine is not joined fully to the pelvic joint socket. It is shown to appear in both female & male Huskies and in either 1 or both hips. It normally will start showing sign in the first 2 years of the dog’s life. However ,this tends to become a genetic defact as somehow the hip dysplasia gene’s are able to pass on to the off springs although both parents are having it as a hidden gene. It can be treated by operation.But if you are getting a dog just for breeding purpose, then it is advised that dogs with Hip Dysplasia shouldn’t be mated as they will produce off springs with that same disease too.

Well, so far there isn’t a cure for this disease. The only method that people came up with was to not breed the Siberian Huskies with this disease to ensure that no hidden genes of this disease will be passed on.

Other health issues in Siberian Huskies has got to do with their eyes. It has nothing to do with the fact that they can only see black and white, in fact all dogs can only see black and white. There are 3 types of eye condition which might show in your Husky,which is the Cataract, the corneal dystrophy and lastly the progressive retinal atrophy. All these 3 eye conditions tend to cause blindness to the dog if not treated. However ,because these 3 are more of a genetic default, therefore there really isn’t a cure but only treatments.

Other than genetic related diseases, Siberian Huskies do succumb to other problems like ticks and flea issue if they are not bath or groomed constantly. This is to ensure your Siberian Husky do not get Flea Allergy Dematitis Syndrome, which later on will be much harder to treat and also costly to treat. Like a new born child, dogs also need vaccination to prevent from viral infections like Distemper, Hepatitis,Parvovirus and Canine Cough. Also, don’t forget to always make a visit to the vet to check if your dog has any intestinal worms in them which is also health hazardous if not treated. Usually, the vet will prescribe a de worm programme to the owner for the dog to start on if intestinal worm is detected in their Siberian Huskies.

All these facts do seem to scare people a little on their decision if whether or not to rare a Siberian Husky. But from word of mouth from people owning a Siberian Husky, they said that this dog breed is by far the only breed with the least health related issues and yet they are the easiest to maintain in terms of grooming wise. So , you need not worry if you are already planning to get a Husky, just make sure your Husky is constantly groomed, fed properly, given adequate exercise and vaccinated, your Husky will be enjoying 10- 15 years of good life with you.

The OT bar in KL opposite Mercedez benz show room is mostly full of OLD MAN( working class mans) but go in a group of friends at least u dun feel odd...

motivators are positive thoughts

Motivators...comes in all forms, be it in a form of things/ people/ words.....it is an essential to life. No one stop once to think that actually their lifes are shaped by how much u listen to your motivator..

For god created motivators as our guardian angel, the one who guides us through life...As i said, they appear in many forms, things/ people/words to keep us breathing on.

Do u see it? Unknowingly there is someone/ something that keeps you going passing through every stages of life till you manage to reach the golden years, that is where u look back and see that u have made it through various obstacle and reached the finish line.

Imagine without Motivators, equals no encouragement, no push, no strive...you’d probably still be stuck at a dark corner not knowing there is something out there far more interesting to see if you manage to surpass the thoughts of negativity. The beast of life, which is those problems/ issues that seems to make our life more tougher as we go year by year , is actually a challenge which we always manage to solve/ defeat it with the help of motivators.

People who couldn’t defeat those challenges are deemed to be stuck there & helpless if they do not seek the help of motivators.

Seeing not everyone can have a human motivator, there are always words/ things which boost your courage to face the beast. What are they? They are positive thoughts!

Example, u say to yourself,

“I CAN DO IT! This beast is just a little grizzly bear that needs to be tamed, after i tame it, it will always go by me.”

OR “God is here, and with god, he will protect me from danger.”

I suppose now u realize ..how much words can empower and comfort us in facing the beast.

Thus, that is why we must always look to the positive side of things when we face all the obstacle in life, with that we can always keep moving forwards. Because unknowingly with positive thinking , ur mind, body & soul sets its target to move towards that positive thought.

This is also part of the teaching in the book THE SECRET, if you want something, you gotta always think it will happen, and naturally u will work towards tht thing...the power of the mind is strong, we should use that power & not leave it rot

taking up different sort of jobs gives exposure to different sides of the working world...

like have u ever wondered how a waiter's day is like? a boutique assistant? a clerk? promoters? salesman??

all these small jobs which will be classified under "services"section...PLEASERS i shall call them~~ though they are at the lowest in the job pyramid , with exception of maids & construction worker of course...

but their role is HUGE i tell ~~how so.?.they make your day don't they? i mean if a restaurant doesn't have waiter who comes to u n say Hi, good day, may i take your order and bring your food,you'll have to do it yourself.but as we know humans loveeee to be pleased n treated like royals sometimes..it makes u feel a little VIP ;) so thats where the pleasers come in & charm u with their sweet words ,calming & patient voice...voice beauty !

let's jump back to LAw Firm....if you think of working in one...here are some thoughts to ponder...

it ain't all like those TVB drama you watch where the lawyers looks so cool with the way they talk bout court cases & wear sexy hot office attire to a huge office at some "Menara XXX"

FACT 1-->Many law firms are tiny,located above shoplots..

FACT 2--> they don''t call themselves lawyers...they call themselves Advocates & solicitors, y? because we follow UK style~~

FACT 3--> only sometimes you get AWESOME! cases like drug abuse, fighting for family property...if not it will be just customer complaints & sue-ing each other for copyright & non paid debts/ protection rights..u know like those movie where they say i got a court order that u stay 100ft away from me..yup that kind...

FACT 4--> if your a clerk there, u gotta be EXTRA CAREFUL when typing documents/ cop stuff & fax stuff..any mistake in your document ....the client will be doomed...example: let's say the document is talking bout protection rights...\ the document suppose to be like this : i , Bla Bla Bla hereby apply for restriction from BLU BU BU to come 100ft to me... instead, u typed this :i , Bla Bla Bla hereby apply for BLU BU BU to come to me. <--- habis~

FACT 5--> you get to read people's cases...like some story book...some is pretty interesting..some is just ...shall not be comment ;)

FACT 6--> next time if you wanna write a WILL and leave behind treasures for ur loved ones

what am I talking about? im talking bout F.R.I.M!

yes, its by far the BEST first camping trip i had been to! honestly, town ppl like me,have not been inside the jungle .The most terrible place i've been to is only Kampung area...and yea that doesn't really count much as called living in the wild!

FRIM is close to it la :P though it still has basic facilities like toilet n kitchen hehe and a rest area deck with fans n lights...other than that , u sleep in tents, n bring your own food...n also feed urself to mosquitos if u don't have a mosquito repellent.

my first thought bout this trip was...will i survive just ONE day living in the wilderness.?! because im afraid of mosquito bites & sunburn.:(

at the end i didn't regret..im actually hoping for more trips like this to come...the best part was because of the friends that came along to this trip...a trip is always fun when u have friends with u =)

i dunno but i feel like a small kid when talking bout this trip, with those shiny eyes,talking bout something with full excitement! like someone has just shown me an amazing magic trick ...

A gained a few "my first times "here...not those "stuff "ur thinking about..but something as simple as first trip to a waterfall, first time camping, first time walking at night in the jungle & see some magic take place( a magic can only be seen at night at FRIM)

i had a splendid time there, ah~~ cant wait for more outings like this~:D
if any of you all have a big group and feel like going for some outing but no idea where, u can think of FRIM camping =) its a great get together place!

lately i'm in the mood of making sweet stuff ,that is not so fattening..and its a drink...

i'm not sure you all have tasted this b4 but i only tasted it at my dad's friend's house during CNY.. and it was sooooo nice to drink, i tell ya! ..if you're the type who likes to drink "liong cha" then this would be something new for u =)

its pretty easy to make...and it only takes 15 mins to boil~~ yes, i prefer less than 1 hour job kind of cooking because my lifestyle is hectic, no time to play around with dishes, just cook & eat..

okay let's start !

ingredients you need =

1.Goci Berry ( gei zhi)

2. Longan - the dried ones

3.red dates- sweetened is better ,so that u don't need to add sugar later on, the red dates sweetened is sweet enough

4. don't forget u need a pot to boil!

cooking method=

1. take 1 hand full of Goci berries( gei zhi),

then rinse the Goci Berry ( Gei zhi) in water( just to wash it)

Longan you may put as many as you wish, for minimum put 10 pieces

2 . take out a pot & dump the goci berry, longan & red dates in

* the amount of red dates you need to put in depends on how sweet you want it to be*

1 packet of sweetened red dates has about almost 20 red dates i think... you can put in 10 first, if its not sweet enough,you can continue adding more in later on

3. add water in....if you are using a medium size pot, you can add the water till full

big size pot ,water is slightly more than half pot

small pot ,water you can add full & lessen the red dates

4.let it boil ! for 15 mins( this is using big fire).

when you see it bubbling & it has turned to" liong cha" colour which is brownish like this ---> then you can taste it to see if its sweet enough..

still not sweet? add more red dates & boil for 5 mins..

sweet enough already? off the fire , let it cool down then serve

oh by the way its a healthy drink, because "gei zhi" is good for the eyes, so you can add more "gei zhi" and eat it up in the drink =)

all the ingredients is edible, so do eat them unless you don't like eating longan / red dates, but eating the "Gei zhi " is a MUst! MUSt!

I stayed in Pulau (island) Redang

And Pulau Perhentian In Terengganu For 2 weeks due to my research and I observed a lot of things done by the local youngsters to the ladies who visited there.

The VICTIMS are those who come alone or with group of girls only, most of them came with one female friend.

They acted as a normal driver of the
boat for the resorts but they selected the lone or girls victims mostly the dumb Chinese girls and western ladies. But if the girls are accompanied by guys, they will not dare to touch. When they reached the snorkeling area, they will 'HELP' the ladies by holding their hands to snorkel here and there. Most of the Chinese ladies
wear exposed and sexy swim wears and they will peep into their bras and underwears from behind.
The worst part are they seemed to bring along their local friends to join the club, to get one or two victims everyday.
They gathered on the jetty and looking at their preys. Then, they will guide the girls to a plastic containers with fresh water to wash them up, sometime trying to 'help' them by touching their body parts. These girls thought they were friendly and helpful but they have others intention.

When the girls are so busy washing and cleaning up, the locals will hand them the mineral water (with something inside), the girls will drink it. It happened everyday. Then suddenly the girls will allow them to hold her hands and walked to the boats and go away to the resort and finally to the rooms with the others local 'friends' following behind 'TO JOIN THE PARTY'!!!

Sometimes they will ask the local or western ladies whether they like to apply some sun block cream. Then they will apply some on their skin. Once, to my surprise the lady bare her breast and let them 'played'.

Then I knew what they applied is actually the 'Minyak Dagu' or Corpse Oil', one type of 'Jampi or Curse Oil' so that you will love them. They kissed her until she brought them to her room. SURPRISE!!! ( I think my fellow friends and I were more handsome (100 times) then the local guys, haha)
Please remember in Terengganu state, the Black Magic is strong over there. I have observed these for 2 weeks but cannot stop them, they have many many friends around, if I questioned them , I will be in trouble...over there. I hope every lady will take precaution on this matter and forward it to everyone.

Just let them know that if the drivers are so friendly and took advantages on them, they have to beware. I am so frustrated because the girls are so dumb to trust them.

I asked one of the victim and she said she didn't remember anything but She said she have some DREAM that she have sex with the locals. SEE !!!

Beware when you're going out snorkling especially ladies' & girls' team only. Boatmen would drug the mineral water when your are busy snorkelling.
Later you passed out after drinking the water when you get back on the boat.
There are insufficient evidence to prosecute them cause they cleverly done their job including dressing up victim nicely to original & don't leave any traces behind even ejected externally. And when the victims awakened they were told they had a short nap. Salt water further makes it difficult for them to discover on the spot until perhaps later.. This happened in Pulau Tioman and can happened any other places. Victims include Italian, American, Japanese, Chinese, Arabian & even Malays.
Please pass this message on to all the world.

Beware!!! The most important thing is "don't drink the mineral water and don't apply the sun block cream given by the boatman !"

but in actual fact this is what we did UP IN GENTING HIGHLANDS!~~u maybe thinking what? wrong place bcoz people's concept of Genting is Genting= Theme park = Casino...
not sipping drinks n chit chat..

but we're not so in the mood of going there for the theme park rides, we just want some cold air <--- Selangor is hot! and some relaxation~~ õkay since my 2 friend bloggers William & Wee Vien

a different approach ... =)we took bus up to the skyway area...from 1 u...pretty comfortable ride for RM7 n for 45 mins of travel time...

hmmm there's a lady somewhere in this picture sunbathing topless ( of course bikini unstrapped n lying face down on the chair) it will be so wrong if her bikini is unstrapped n she's facing the sky haha! anyway...tht was the first thing the guys saw...guys~~`guys~~ oh yeah it was hot when went to our hotel, so its possible to sunbath, otherwise i dun think anyone would wanna sunbath in the cold...

there was to it than this, Awana is really a nice place to walk around but we dint go sightseeing around it...
i got no idea what to say bout this pic...haha! i guess we're admiring the little greens around tht corridor?! it does look like "y is it taking so long to get the room key? " expression :P

next u should check out your hotel room view mmm~~ nice view ..good good =)

while waiting for the shuttle bus to go up Genting highlands for lunch after checking in & dumping the heavy luggage.. u should stone & pose at the same time :P

when people are looking at food menu, u should not take pictures! or else you will get this face :P!
food wherever u go up in Genting is always the double of KL prices...so come prepared with kaching $$
when waiting for food to come, its nice to take pics too ..LOL! to kill time ~~
when looking at what food to eat, u shouldn't concentrate too hard, just smile at the menu & voila u know what food to eat XD ( more like im limited to only 2 choice in the menu) so its not tough to decide :D
you should always have a decision making session to everywhere u wanna go when u have no idea where to go..if u get bored, smile at the camera man ( william )
u should play the arcade machines too....there's some thrill in seeing those coupons come out of the machine like coins flowing out when u hit JACKPOT!
and then when u think okay,~~ i got few hundred coupons, should be able to get something nice..
you go to the counter..and stand in awe at those prizes which are worth few thousand coupons...and then u just go O.O! n keep staring...hahah!
u should also take picture in the arcade ( as proof you went there XD) ok, nolah...they just wanted an ALLGUYS only picture..so yeah~~

now what should we do ? what shall we do? still got few more hours to kill b4 7pm shuttle comes to pick us back to Awana...
GO Starbucks and chit chat, enjoy the rain, because it started to rain and the weather was chilly..and we're all drinking cold drink...aaah~~~~ what a combo! cold air + cold drink = double freezing ~~

then what to do ? what to do again?? this trip has a lot of WHAT TO DO's~~~

we had dinner at the restaurant/bar by the pool at our hotel....
it was nice,sitting under those umbrella stands, nice cold air...near the pool...got yellow lightings...
chatting , eating dinner ...and got ants crawling on the tree behind me~~~very geli...then stare at some more ants infront of me on the umbrella stand..@.@ but overall the talking kept me away frm staring at the ants..too hungry till we forgot to take picture..oh did i mention price for food at tht bar is much reasonable than up at Genting?!

oops! got 1 person missing ( Jason) don't worry he will appear in the next group picture! O.O! if all of us cross- legged here we would look in Sync! =) this is while waiting for the bus back to 1u...gosh all of us once ON the bus, all started snoozing away...haha!

its really awesome~~``

makes the pictures have more nostalgic soul to it... and probably makes it look a little different from the normal mode

u know i should have played volleyball when i was much much younger ...growing stage...

so that i can grow to the height of 165++ i think this is what i've wanted to be...the ideal height for me :P

unfortunately im 10 cm++ shorter la...thinking that by playing sports can make me grow tall, LOL, so yeah i used to try many type of sports but none of them makes u grow tall., running,

swimming, badminton, ping pong, basketball...all these seems like they are training the legs muscles more like it =.="""but at least i learned so many skills n it has helped keep me in shape... for the past 7 years?

oh yeah back to volleyball, see i tend to run out of topic...*geez~~~* recently there was this ASIAN YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP going on in Cheras...international girl players yo~~

i went with my dad ( volleyball fanatic + younger days state player) pity his children tak ada satu pun masuk MSSD for any sport XD

the match i saw was AUS vs KOREA / JAPAN vs THAILAND (good match )

this is AUSTRALIA vs KOREA ( before the game)

this is no idea which country i think japan warming up( practising)

like to shock them n let them know prom is coming in OCTOBER! remember to dress up nice

nice and be at 1 world hotel ya people!

the flash mob? well its a mash up of a few songs & people just dance to it...im one of the dancers

too..actually i havnt danced since primary school >.<

so hopefully i don't look that terrible n stiff in the video ~~

it was a great experience seriously! dint regret taking part in it

At first i was a bit sceptical coz i public dancing?! :S

Well, it was all planned already , so what we did before the dance was rehearsed! rehearsed!

rehearsed! and it only took 3 days?! to learn the whole dance routine <-- amazing!

okay before we created a Hoo HA~~ we just sat at the canteen like normal students pretending

like everything is just like normal, then suddenly the PA system just blasted music, and some of

the dancers just came running down the stairs screaming like wooo!!! aaaahh~~~` n so on..then

they literally pulled n carried the canteen tables aside so we can start the whole dance...

other dancers ( girls) watch first at the first part<--- pretending to be audience..then after that

we join in :D
