drawing life model

model drawing is something pretty new to me..when our class entered the drawing studio,my first thought * ok! mr. Adi is gonna ask us to draw something stack in the middle of the class* then when he mentioned MODEL! i was wah~~ so fast we are drawing a " moving person" ( was a bit nervous coz dint practice human figure drawing) (was also telling myself The model is gonna be fat,coz ms.yvonne said her model last time was a HUGE FAT GUY) how wonderful  to draw the oh so many curves on the body XD

 oh! n dun worry our model wore clothes =)

thank god,if not all the guys will be shooting blood from their nose

had a real funny time coz everyone drew a really funny drawing which barely looks like the model posing there in the middle...i knew i kept laughing at other ppl's drawing plus my own 1...how bad of me =P

after recess the model had to pose for 2 hours! initially she stood 15 mins per pose...n she chose a pose so uncomfortable,tht i was thinking wah she really gonna do that ar? end up she kept moving throughout..hahaha!!!

due to the fact i drew her like a monkey face( according to Leonard),i do not dare to show u..hahah!! if not u will laugh till u drop on the floor...

a conversation bout my drawing-->leonard:WAH! kimmei u draw human or monkey?  some said..EH! look like micheal jackson T.T  leonard continue: not bad le, u should write there in memory of MJ hahah! i pity the model...

other friends drew until she look like chinese face when she is a malay, some drew her too old,too fat,too thin,too short...

project 3~`wire sculpture of an eagle

EAGLE? hmm...that was our mythical creature project..so what were suppose to do with eagle?

the task is to sculpt it using wires.. no blow torch,no glue allowed,just ur plain old pliers & many types of wires..

OH! before i talk bout the eagle project,i would like to show u all a diploma interior design's student house project....its so NICE, SO REAL~~~like dollhouse, =) it would be nice if tht modal were made into a real house.. WAh~~~* imagining ** with me staying inside * haha!

real huh?? and the stuff inside are really tiny, especially the buddha head,* wonders how they make it so detailed *

duration was suppose to be 2 weeks as usual,but maybe some of us did not hear what the lecturer said  n SO it turned out to be only 10 days given( 1 week plus 3 days) which is a rather rush,though this is our first group project.

my members consist of 5 ppl including me,( no pics of them ) .we sketched the eagle into a wire form and took measurements of how big we wanted the parts of the eagle to be.

from then we moved on to sculpting it, which is the hardest part!!! our wire knots must be clean n tidy,for us to get that,we hv to use the pliers n hand to twist n bend them to shape.

in the process, everyone had a pretty injured hands ,with tiny scratches n wounds from the wire n blisters due to pressing n twisting wires....though our hands may look like normal,but when it touches water,it BURNS~~~~~tht shows how tiny the wounds are tht we dint even realize its there till it touches water..( so called invisible wounds XD)

hmm,if anyone remembers ah Long Pte Ltd that movie, u'll remember tht the Ah long leader injured 1 finger then alot of ppl came to visit, but then he injured 10 n little ppl came to visit...

LOL~~~well my middle finger bled coz the wire is really sharp, i wrap it with plaster n continue doing my work, then not later my thumb bled~~~haha then from there the guys took over,if not i would prolly end up like the Ah long guy,plastering 10 fingers..ahaha...that would be a sight to see seriously!

everyone did well,i love the tail of the eagle ^^ if we had more time, the wings could have looked like the tail too~~ but everyone did a good job =)

after 2 weeks, PROJECT 2 IMPRESSIONISM ARTWORK is finally done!

we were given the chance to paint like ARTISTS,meaning using easel,canvas n standing up to paint...

.due to the fact tht ppl last time dint hv the luxury of chairs to sit on while painting n we were not allowed to use premix BLACK PAINT! for some reason i dunno...prolly dint hv black during those 18th century either...to get black i gotta mix 5 diff colours!

when we get a lil bored, we tend to play with things..like our kneadable eraser~~( something like plasticine for erasing charcoal drawings)

OK LETS SAY U FORGOTTEN TO BRING YOUR STUFF FOR LESSON,NORMALLY U WOULD EXPECT SOME FORM OF PUNISHMENT..AND IT WONT BE A NICE ONE RIGHT..

well, my english lecturer ms.husna,totally ROCKS!~she gather those ppl who dint bring her lesson notes to come out front...

while the rest of us thought..oh,~~ she's gonna make them sit at 1 corner..instead NOT!...

she make them sit in the middle infront of the white board,then she started scribbling some words on the board...

manatau,she created a play scene...ask them to pose & act as 2 pair of husband & wife then in the middle is the mistress who rampas both the wife's husband...and allow us to take pictures XD

tht is her way of punishing haha!..

looks like next time i should not bring my notes,see what sort of fun things she would do to me =D
